Prabhat Bhama, MD, MPH
Prabhat is a full-time facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. In his spare time, he enjoys stand-up paddle boarding, road cycling, the outdoors, and spending time with his two beautiful daughters and wonderful wife. He has always had a passion for the sciences and the arts. As a youngster, he developed a passion for pencil sketching. Automobiles, aircraft, NBA/NHL/NFL athletes, and cartoon characters were some of the subjects he enjoyed sketching. His interests in art transitioned to music, when he began to play the saxophone in middle school. While in college and medical school, he continued playing the saxophone but also worked part-time as a disc jockey. During residency, he was introduced to medical photography as a part of his surgical training. While he enjoyed photography at work, he realized an equal interest in photographing the beauty in nature. Today, he loves photographing his beautiful family, but also finds time to photograph wildlife, landscapes, and cityscapes. For Prabhat, photography is an opportunity for his interests in physics, nature, photography, and beauty to coexist.
